Whether at the county or city level, an effective Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) must be actionable and fundable. We’ll create a plan outlining shovel-ready projects prioritized according to your specific needs, based on input from your local fire professionals. We’re experienced in cross-jurisdictional plans and facilitating collaboration among all stakeholders to reduce risk. In addition to the CWPP, we can prepare pre-incident materials including clear maps, pre-defined management action points, designated evacuation zones, and pre-written resource orders ready to use when you need them.
Grant applications and funding consulting.
Wildfire mitigation is labor-intensive and expensive. But it can often be funded through grants, federal spending appropriations, and local funds. We can help you identify your best sources of funding, and facilitate applying for them.
